Ornaments Make Great Accents for Christmas Portrait
There are so many beautiful ornaments to choose from these days and they make for festive photos. When taking pictures with kids it is best to get ones made out of plastic that look authentic. Get ones in colors that coordinate with kids’ clothing and that are fairly simple so that the kids remain the focus of the photo. For example, get a nice-looking bowl or gift bag and fill it with traditional Christmas ball ornaments (made of plastic). Give younger kids an ornament or two to keep them occupied for the photo too.
Dress Up Kids as Little Elves for a Christmas Photo
This can be done as simply as having Santa hats in red or green or going all out and getting little elf costumes. Parents might also want to paint on red circles on the children’s cheeks and nose. Parents can join in the photos with green and red outfits and painted cheeks too!
Have some big box presents for the kids to play with. Have fun with the kids, tell them to pretend there are Santa’s elves wrapping presents or get them to pile them up (have it so the presents go from big to small).
